o The National Bone Marrow Transplant Link is a non-profit (501(c)3) organization whose mission to reduce the burdens of bone marrow transplant patients and their families through education and support. NBMTlink publishes two booklets for BMT patients: "Friends Helping Friends, Bone Marrow Transplant Resource Guide" and The "Surviviors' Guide to a Bone Marrow Transplant, What to Expect and How to Get Through It" . a new publication is now also available. as of april 14, 1999 copies can be ordered and it is in the process of being put on their web site.

o The Choosing a Transplant Center: a Patient's Guide provides information on all National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Transplant Centers currently doing unrelated BMTs including: diseases treated, donor match criteria, cost information and results at various centers. as of March 26, 1999, the "information will be soon available online".

o A Patient's Guide to BMT from the City of Hope BMT program . Although this guide is intended for patients at the City of Hope it provides a basic introduction to BMTs, blood cells, chemotherapy and other topics.

o You Are Not Alone, A High-Dose Chemotherapy Support Group . This group is based in Los Angeles, California. Their mission is to provide current, accurate information to patients, and their caregivers, who are undergoing or may undergo, high-dose chemotherapy. They provide support groups and meetings with other patients and groups. Their web site has a wealth of information on high dose chemo, including patient stories, information on blood tests, newsletters and more.
