o The Caring Parents Web Page. Caring Parents is an e-mail discussion group aimed towards parents of children with life-threatening illnessness, mainly cancer. The web page has photos and stories of some of the list members.
o Dana Dimsdale was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 7, she is now 12. She relapsed and had a BMT from an unrelated donor.

o Steven Berghuis, was born in 1986 and lived in California. He had a bone marrow transplant at Stanford University. Also see this CNN article about Steven .
o Michelle Crosby was a 30 year-old wife and mother from Falls Church, Virginia, who recently gave birth to her second child. During the second trimester of her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). She had a BMT from an umbilical cord blood donor September 29, 1998. Michelle passed away December 28, 1999
